HOMEOPATHY
“We treat the patient, not the disease”
“Homeopathy is a revolutionary healing method, whose highest priority is balance, in body and mind.”
Introduction
Homeopathy is a holistic method of healing based on strengthening our immune system, our body's ability to heal itself. When we become ill, our immune system is out of balance. Homeopathic treatment takes into account the reason why we got ill and not just the symptoms of the illness. It strengthens and invigorates the body's natural healing mechanisms and helps it regain its balance, without side effects or complications.
History
The philosophy of homeopathy can be traced back to the medical works of Hippocrates, the ancient Greek physician that is now known as the "father of modern medicine", that lived in the 5th century BC. Homeopathy as we know it today, was conceived by German physician Samuel Hahnemann towards the end of the 18th century. It has been practiced globally for more than 200 years.
Homeopathic remedies
Homeopathic remedies are mostly of plant and mineral origin. They can usually be found in the form of capsules and are dispensed by specialized pharmacies. They cause no side effects and they don’t affect the action of any other medication that one might be taking.
For the children
We all wish for our children to be healthy and need no regular treatments and medication. Children have pure immune systems and react wonderfully to homeopathy. By dealing with children's diseases as quickly as possible, they can avoid chemical drugs, build a healthy immune system and stop a condition from becoming chronic (such as allergies, asthma, recurring tonsillitis and otitis).
Conditions that are treated by homeopathy
Homeopathy is a complete healing system and can be used in the treatment of most illnesses. From acute infections, such as the flu, influenza, gastroenteritis, urinary infections etc, to more chronic ailments from which people suffer every day. Some examples are:
- Any kind of allergies: allergic rhinitis, skin allergies, hives, allergic asthma.
- Gynecological disorders: disorders of the menstrual cycle (menstrual cramps, amenorrhea, irregular menses), menopause disorders (flushes etc).
- Disorders of the hormones: thyroid disorders, disorders of the metabolism.
- Skin conditions: acne, eczema, psoriasis, pruritus.
- Auto-immune diseases.
- Psychological conditions: phobias, stress, anxiety, sadness, insomnia, panic attacks, compulsive disorders, behavioral disorders in children.
“Each patient is unique, and each treatment embraces that uniqueness”
